Kentucky in for 5-star Caleb Wilson

Date:

Recruiting never stops, even on the day before Jasper Johnson’s commitment announcement on Thursday afternoon.

Kentucky Wildcats head coach Mark Pope and three assistants were in for class of 2025 forward Caleb Wilson at his home gym at Holy Innocents in Atlanta.

This is notable because Wilson is slated for an official visit to Lexington next week, and Kentucky is in decent shape with the top-10 prospect out of Georgia.

Wilson is scheduled for an official visit to Alabama this weekend and has one scheduled at Auburn for October 27th.

Among other teams and coaches in attendance for Wilson were Arkansas coach John Calipari and one assistant, Oregon coach Dana Altman, and Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire. Kentucky seems to be the only program that sent the entire coaching staff.

Wilson is ranked as the No. 6 overall player by 247 Sports and the No. 3 power forward.
