Oregon Ducks 2024 season win total odds plus Oregon State, Washington college football futures

Date:

College football major conference team win totals for the 2024 regular season have been released by the leading online sportsbooks, and below we’re examining the futures odds and prospects for Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.

It’ll certainly be a new-look season of intrigue for the trio as the Ducks and Huskies are joining the Big Ten Conference while the Beavers are playing as a Mountain West Conference affiliate as one of two teams (along with Washington State) remaining in the vastly diminished Pac-12.

Bet on 2024 college football futures while taking advantage of our top online sportsbook welcome promo code offers which currently are worth up to a combined $4,900 in new-customer bonuses (see list following article).

Do note that college football win totals are for the regular season only, which means that victories in conference championship and bowl games aren’t included.

Oregon 2024 season win total odds: Reloaded Ducks tackle Big Ten slate

Oregon finished 12-2 (11-1 regular season) in its 2023 Pac-12 finale.

However, coach Dan Lanning has some work to do in replacing a host of standouts from his 2023 squad, including eight NFL Draft picks. Those include two-year starting quarterback Bo Nix, the Pac-12 Offensive Player of Year, and two of his top offensive weapons in running back Bucky Irving and wide receiver Troy Franklin.

The Ducks still have plenty of talent, though, and did land former Oklahoma standout QB Dillon Gabriel, a 2023 first-team All-Big 12 selection, in the transfer portal.

On the majority of Big Ten championship oddsboards, Oregon trails only Ohio State among the preseason favorites to win the 18-team conference.

The Ducks’ 12-team 2024 schedule kicks off with three non-conference games, including a Sept. 14 visit to Oregon State.

Oregon then gets five of its nine Big Ten games at home, including key matchups with Ohio State (Oct. 12) and Washington (Nov. 30). Among the Ducks’ four conference road games are visits to defending national-champion Michigan (Nov. 2) and Wisconsin (Nov. 16).

In all, it projects as the 13th-toughest schedule in the FBS, according to an ESPN analysis.

The season win total bar for Oregon is set high at 10.5, and the major sportsbook odds are shaded toward the under at a consensus -127. The best-value over odds at +110 could be found at DraftKings and Caesars Sportsbooks as of May 1.

Oregon State 2024 season win total odds: Mountain West-heavy schedule on deck

The Beavers have finished above .500 in each of the last three seasons — including eight- and 10-win seasons the last two years — under coach Jonathan Smith.

But OSU has some rebuilding to do after losing all four of its 2023 All-Pac-12 first-team selections as well as QB D.J. Uiagalelei, who transferred to Florida State.

The positive news is the Beavers see their schedule lighten up a bit with the break-up of the Pac-12. They’ll play seven of their 12 games in Corvallis, including their toughest matchup, a Sept. 14 date with rival Oregon.

In all, Oregon State faces seven Mountain West opponents with its new affiliation, including four home contests.

The Beavers do encounter three 2023 MW bowl teams in their final four games, though, including road visits to Air Force (Nov. 16) and Boise State (Nov. 30) sandwiched around the Nov. 23 home finale against Washington State.

With Oregon State now outside of the new “Power Four” conferences, only DraftKings as of May 1 had posted 2024 win total odds for the Beavers. And that total is set at 7.5 with the odds shaded to the under at -115 and the over at -105.

Washington 2024 season win total odds: Bar lowered for reconfigured Huskies

After going a combined 25-3 over the last two seasons, including a school-record 14-1 in 2023, the Huskies have undergone an extreme offseason makeover.

Gone are 2023 Pac-12 Coach of the Year Kalen DeBoer, a school record-tying 10 NFL Draft picks — including top-10 picks QB Michael Penix Jr. and WR Rome Odunze — and even the Pac-12, UW’s conference home for the last 56 seasons.

Now enter former Arizona coach Jedd Fisch, new QB Will Rogers, a transfer from Mississippi State where he started the last seasons, and a spot in the newly-expanded 18-team Big Ten.

Washington’s 2024 schedule features seven home games, and the Sept. 14 Apple Cup matchup vs. Washington State also will take place in Seattle at Lumen Field, home of the NFL’s Seahawks.

Defending national-champion Michigan visits Husky Stadium on Oct. 5, but the Huskies’ Big Ten road slate will be challenging with games at Iowa (Oct. 12), Penn State (Nov. 9) and former Pac-12-rival Oregon (Nov. 30).

In all, it projects as the nation’s eighth-most daunting schedule, according to ESPN.

Accordingly, the Huskies’ 2024 regular season win total is set at 7.5 at most of the top online sportsbooks, with Caesars being one of the exceptions at seven wins.

The odds are tilted toward the under 7.5 (a consensus -132), while Caesars had the 7-win over odds set at -120 with the corresponding under at -110.
