Planet Fitness has announced that their newest location will open this August in Sand Springs.
The 61 W Morrow Road location will bring a few new jobs to the community, hiring approximately 10-15 employees including management positions. At around 18,500 square feet of space, the new gym will offer numerous amenities including workout equipment, a guided workout space, a cross training area, high-speed Wi-Fi, numerous HDTVs, private locker rooms, and a spa area for Black Card members.
“This club will have the best of the best when it comes to fitness, with plenty of cardio to make sure you can get in and out for a workout on any schedule,” said Excel Fitness CEO CJ Bouchard. “We have members already joining and they’re pumped to take this step towards improving their health.”
For those looking to go ahead and sign up, those interested can join online through the end of May for only $1 down and pay nothing until the club opens its doors. That counts for all memberships, including the Black Card membership which allows for members to access nearby gyms immediately.
