Vietnam Vets Donate To Washington Middle School Garden Club

Local Vietnam veterans organizations recently donated a total of $500 to the Washington Middle School Garden Club. The Vietnam Veterans of America donated $200, while the Jamestown Vietnam Veterans Association Inc. donated $300. Kellie Sims, a social worker at Washington through the Chautauqua County Mental Health Department, helped to facilitate the connection. Presenting the checks on behalf of the organizations was Mike Pacitti, president of the Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter 865.
