49ers’ Kalia Davis: Stays on IR

Davis (ankle) will remain on injured reserve and won’t play in Sunday’s Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.

Davis has seemingly already recovered from his high-ankle sprain and has been a full participant during practice since before the 49ers‘ win over the Lions in the NFC Championship Game. Though he won’t be available to play as the 49ers finish out their season, the defensive tackle should be a full participant for the team’s offseason program.
