An arrest has been made in connection with the death of an 80-year-old man in Marshfield, according to the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office.
The death investigation at 853 Main St. began Wednesday evening with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Marshfield Police and Massachusetts State Police.
The district attorney’s office said there was no threat to public safety.
The name of the man who died and the charges brought against Lombardi were not immediately released.
Lombardi was arrested by Marshfield Police on Wednesday and has been held on $1,000,000 bail since. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Friday.
