Norse Atlantic is offering affordable flights to London this summer.
Thanks to the rise of budget-friendly airlines such as Norse Atlantic, French Bee and PLAY, there’s never been a better time to plan a trip across the pond. Here’s what you need to know about four new Norse Atlantic routes that’ll be starting up between the U.S. and London later this year.
New routes announced on Norse Atlantic
On Feb. 28, Norse Atlantic announced four new routes to London’s Gatwick Airport (LGW) from Washington, D.C. (IAD), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO), all of which will be rolling out over the summer. Last year, the low-cost carrier announced three routes to London from New York (JFK), Orlando (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), bringing the total up to seven new routes between the U.S. and London by late 2023.
As of June 1, 2023, service to London from Washington, D.C. will operate six times per week on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The schedule will then change to four flights per week—on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday—on September 1, 2023. Norse Atlantic will also launch daily service to London from Los Angeles starting June 30, 2023, as well as thrice weekly flights—on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday—from San Francisco as of July 1, 2023. Lastly, the carrier will offer service five times per week from Boston as of Sept. 2, 2023, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Additional considerations
One-way flights to London on Norse Atlantic are remarkably affordable, with starting prices ranging from $159 to $199 depending on which U.S. city you fly from. That said, keep in mind that the one-way return flight is often priced higher and the quoted one-way fares are based on Economy Lite service, which only includes an under-the-seat bag—you’ll have to pay more for Economy Classic or Economy Plus bundles, which include perks like carry-on and checked bags, a meal service, priority boarding and the ability to make changes to your booking. During the booking process, you’ll also have the option to upgrade to a Premium Light, Premium Classic or Premium Plus fare, which includes additional perks such as an extra meal service and more flexibility in terms of ticketing changes.
In addition to these flights to London, Norse Atlantic also operates routes between the U.S. and Berlin, Oslo, Paris and Rome, offering even more ways for American travelers to visit Europe affordably this summer. Note that on this low-cost carrier, all flights are operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. With economy and premium classes to choose from and seats featuring 43 inches of pitch and a 12-inch recline, it’ll be a comfortable ride across the Atlantic, too.
