After losing their head coach, Chip Kelly, to Ohio State, the program wasted no time finding their new guy at the helm. That moment came on Monday as the program announced they would hire UCLA Athletics Hall of Famer DeShaun Foster as their new head coach.
Although Foster will be a first-time head coach with the Bruins, fans love the hire.
It’s unanimous: fans love the move! Not only do fans love the move, but UCLA’s three-star offensive lineman from Mission Viejo, Mark Schroller, loves the hire.
Schroller was vocal when Kelly left UCLA and stated he would remain a Bruin. The senior lineman is loyal to the blue and gold, and it showed.
A new era is officially underway for the Bruins, and all eyes will be on the first-time head coach to lead UCLA into the Big 10. It won’t be easy, and there’ll be some growing pains, but the excitement is evident.
Foster will be responsible for ushering in a new era in Westwood. Buckle up for what should be a fantastic ride.
